Daniamant is leading the way in the development and manufacture of survivor location lights. Bövik Marin AB has been an official distributor since many years and can supply almost any light on short notice.

Lifejacket lights
Daniamant W3 automatic lifejacket light pictured below.



This new, low profile light is a single compact flashing unit. The light is emitted through an ultra low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap (type "clip 1") and one to go over a 5cm belt (type "clip 2"). This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required. The light has the same attachment arrangement as Dan M3. Bövik Marin AB keeps W3 lights and clips in stock. We can also supply any other Daniamant lifejacket light on short notice.

All Daniamant lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.

All Daniamant Lifebuoy lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 2cd output specification and 2 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. All Daniamant Lifebuoy lights are constructed to withstand a drop into the water from at least 30m, as required by the LSA code (Chapter II Section 2.1.1.6). Some models have been tested at greater heights.
